Welcome to seams Sew Simple

Hi my name is Lynn, I am a textile artist living in Roscommon Ireland. I have been sewing since childhood, and my passion for textiles and colour have developed over the years.

After completing an HNC in Clothing I worked for 10 years in London’s west end rag trade. I made my first patchwork quilt in 1992 just after my twins were born and continued to expand my sewing skills when I returned to Ireland in 1996.

I still like to expand my skills by trying out new techniques and products and now I love to share my experience with other like minded people, through workshops and classes. My Studio which is situated in the heart of Roscommon is the perfect place to get you started.

Thank you to the North Western branch of the IPS for a lovely weekend last week. We really enjoyed our visit to Ballybofey, made all the better with the beautiful sunshine. The venue at Jackson's hotel was bright and spacious, where we enjoyed the delicious scones served with jam and cream. New members are given a warm welcome.
